Agile Austria

    Hybrid

    Dear friends of agility,

    “Agile is dead”

Hardly any other statement provokes the community more – and few capture the reality in many organisations more accurately. What once began as a response to complexity has all too often degenerated into routine. Daily stand-ups, planning meetings, boards full of tasks – but what’s really left at the end of it all? Where agility once signified progress and momentum, today, disillusionment often prevails.
Frameworks are implemented, roles defined, velocity measured – yet the value for customers remains vague. Teams are “agile” but not effective. Companies are “transformed” but not adaptable. Rightly so, leaders are asking: What is all this for?

Back to the core – agility as a mindset, not a method

Criticism of the “agile hype” is not a reckoning. It’s an invitation. An invitation to rethink agility – beyond buzzwords and tools.
Away from dogmatic debates, towards the real questions:

      • How do we build organisations that can act quickly, boldly and with customer focus in uncertain times?
      • How do we create spaces where teams can take ownership and truly make an impact?
      • What does leadership mean in an environment that is constantly evolving?

Agility was never the goal. It has always been a means to an end: the ability to act. Clarity. Value creation.

    The Agile Austria Conference 2026:

    More than just a conference
“Agility Beyond the Buzz” – under this motto, the conference brings together people who don’t want to tick boxes, but to reshape what agility means.
Two days full of practical insights, open discussions and meaningful questions – with perspectives from business, IT, education, leadership and coaching.

    For those who…

… see agility not as a checklist, but as a mindset.
… are tired of “agile theatre.”
… know that real change takes effort – and attitude.

Whether in person or online – be part of the conversation as we explore what comes after the hype. How do we make agility effective again? How do we build organisations that don’t fear complexity, but embrace and shape it?

    Now is the moment.

Agility isn’t dead – but it does need a genuine paradigm shift in attitude and thinking.
With you. With us. Through real conversations.
At the Agile Austria Conference 2026.
