Since 2014, the Agile Coach Camp Austria (ACCAT) has brought together people who are enthusiastic about agility, coaching and joint development. What once started in a small group is now a lively event with up to 100 participants.
Since 2022 we have been guests at Steinschaler Dörfl – high up on the mountain, surrounded by nature. There we are wonderfully provided with local home cooking and also have plenty of space to work, play, be creative, make music and discuss. Some of us walk through the forest in the early morning, meditate in the dew-fresh meadow or hike in small groups through the wonderful landscape.
The special thing about ACCAT:
- Families and furry companions are also welcome!
- We are a German-speaking camp.
Meanwhile, Agile Coach Camps take place in many different locations in Europe and on other continents.
In short, what is it?
- It is a non-profit event for Agile Coaches, Change Agents, Scrum Masters, and basically for anyone who works with teams and organizations. While the background is in software development (hence “Agile”), we believe that this is no longer limited to software or IT, but is applicable wherever we try to improve life and work through better collaboration and more inspiration.
- It is an event in the open space format – there is no predefined agenda, only motivated people who contribute their experience, knowledge and passion. Sessions are defined directly at the event.
- It is a great opportunity to exchange and network, everyone can discuss topics or Take questions with you and discuss them with other experts, it is a must for agile people – not only from Vienna and Austria.
- It is a place to share, to learn, to have fun, to meet new people, to grow,…
- Participants in recent years were among others Software developers, Scrum Masters, executives in the agile environment, change experts, consultants, agile coaches, “coach coaches” and a seminar actress – from AT, DE, CH and SK.
