Every year, a group who are passionate about retrospective facilitation gather to share observations, grow our skills and work out things that are puzzling us. It’s a small, invitation-only gathering, which provides opportunities for very focused and high-density learning, not to mention a bit of fun and interaction with our peers.
The Retrospective Facilitators Gathering is a yearly Open Space conference by and for experienced practitioners in agile retrospectives. People from all over the world come to this gathering to share experiences and ideas and to learn from other facilitators.
You learn a lot and it is great to be among peers who share their experiences. The open space format enables relevant topics to pop up, both for group and one-to-one sessions.
Our goals for the week are to:
- Grow our retrospective facilitation skills by sharing our experience and knowledge.
- Share observations of how retrospectives have helped teams and organizations improve their effectiveness.
- Share puzzles, strategies, activities, and stories.
