Biography
Charlotte is an accomplished Agilist and Change Maker with a diverse background spanning education and customer service. As an advanced certified Scrum Master at xneelo, a leading web hosting company in South Africa, Charlotte collaborates with numerous teams and leaders to foster a culture of high performance.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Education and over seven years of experience in childhood development, including special needs inclusive education, Charlotte has developed a keen ability to create inclusive environments and devise creative problem-solving approaches. Her two-year stint as a Customer Service Specialist further honed her skills in effective communication and conflict resolution.
Since 2021, Charlotte has been applying her wealth of experience as a Scrum Master and changemaker, passionate about equipping teams to unlock their full potential through a systems-thinking approach tailored to their unique needs. She is also exploring System Coaching within her organisation, continuously expanding her skill set to better serve her teams.
Volunteering
Since 2022, Charlotte has been one of 12 committee members for the Scrum User Group of South Africa (SUGSA), endorsed by Scrum Alliance. In this role, she plays a key part in organising events and conferences that promote growth, empowerment, and support within the Agile community. Charlotte has also served on Global Programme Advisory Teams (PATs) and has volunteered her services at numerous national and global conferences and gatherings. Her involvement with SUGSA aligns with her commitment to fostering inclusivity and celebrating diversity in the field.
Speaker
As a speaker, Charlotte brings a unique blend of educational background, customer service expertise, and Agile proficiency to her presentations. She has embraced the role of an Open Space facilitator at local events and has recently begun speaking at national and global conferences and summits. Charlotte is dedicated to illuminating the shared methods and techniques that interlink her diverse experiences, firmly believing that adaptable skills are instrumental to success in the ever-evolving landscape of Agile. Her sessions are known for their practical insights, engaging delivery, and a strong focus on actionable takeaways, making her a sought-after voice in the Agile community.
